I was about to say the same thing!
CDS is a bit like trying to hold a ball down at the bottom of a tank of water. It takes a lot of effort to hold it down but when released it will shoot to the top quite fast.
Since hitting our high recently (and we all saw how fast that happened - remember that buy V sell ratio guys) there has been a rather steady decline which has taken time and effort. There was never a crash or a massive sell off, just a slow decline. The reason for this is highly speculative but I think those in the know have a fair idea.
Can't wait for my funds to clear so I can pick up another 50k or so. This is going to be my retirement right here!
