To be fair, they have spent a decent chunk of change on MVM and Synlait in the past year or two. The signalling was that they might be keeping an eye out for opportunistic acquisitions made possible by the impact of COVID. But I agree the capital allocation is a bit vague and sounds like it is out of David B.'s hands.
