I believe MHL have done well to put a positive spin on todays ANN, the pros outweighing the cons here;

Pros
-They apparently drilled 70 metres overnight
-They are only a few hundred metres above the patchawarra formation which has been described as 'a robust 3D seizmic defined closure at the permian patchawarra formation, being a prolific producer arround the well location.
-There is now talk (discussions of new targets) of a new drilling effort at Burunna 1, The seismic map of which excites me very much so.
-The wording 'new joint venture operations.'

Cons
-The shallower initial target had no hydrocarbon shows.
