The action in taking the price down is probably related to the fact that the New York Assembly will pass into LAW within the next week or so a moratorium on(horizontal/fracturing) drilling in New York State until 15May 2011 - a defacto moratorium has been in place since 2008 awaiting the NY Dept of Environment to publish new regulations in relation to the practice of fracturing wells in order to ensure water supplies are not contaminated by chemicals used in fracturing.
As most of IMP's acreage is in NY State,it means there will be little action on the drilling front any time soon.
