Continental Coal exectutive Jason Brewer says dedt funding is available on good terms to producers looking to fund a second project. The South African focused coal miner secured US$35 million in project financing from ABSA capital at a total cost of about 5%
"From a historical perspective thats just fantastic" brewer says "I think over the past three months the interest has increased not just from your traditional sources like the banks but also from none traditional sources like the trading companies looking to support you for off take." Investors are more certain about investing in South Africa says Brewer now that the government has expressed its clear stance on nationalising its resource.
