I am confident we'll see large vols of coal in Botswana deposits. My focus will be primarily on the quality. Any local power stations will be built nearest the best quality coal. Export coal from RSA remains over triple the price of domestic coal. But importers have strict guidelines re grade. If the coal drill results do make the grade (excuse the pun), then (imo) the SP will leap. If coal grades are only average, then SP will probably not plummet as mkt appears to expect the latter. Here's hoping grades exceed those found by others in Botswana.
