Whilst we all hope article carries some truth, long term holders of CNP would realize newspaper journalists have not always got the story right.
The original portfolio offered didn't mention Centro Mundurah, but did mention a property valuation capitalization rate of 5.61% which would have included Centro Bankstown, so 5.8% would be a good result if correct. At least we would know it was somewhere round book value.
Still not convinced sale process would have been changed.
No mention of Centro Bankstown yet potential buyers could have purchased 100% of this centre cf 50% shares in other 3 mentioned. Article implying no interest in Bankstown?
