I would not be surprised if Xstrata and any other interested parties are already engaged in earnest discussion with MLM for their 45% holding of MTE .That stake is obviously in my opinion the key.If a prospective buyer was to offer MLM a price around $1.20 to $1.50 for their stake which is currently a substantial premium to MTE's current SP then one might believe that MLM would be tempted to offer up a backdoor key to MTE's kingdom.It would certainly be a hell of a blocking stake for any company which manages to acquire it
