"IMO, shareholders should not have allowed their disappointment to affect their decision on this resolution given the next potential raise is likely to be conducted at a much higher level which will likely only serve to benefit them and their holding long term."

It didn't deny them the opportunity to raise capital. It denied them the opportunity to raise excess capital beyond the standard amount (as they did this and previous times), without requesting shareholder approval.

The problem with that resolution was the amount of dilution it would grant them. We've already seen the detrimental impact they've caused - an almost 30% loss of value in the last CR, and capping and then turning an upward price trend down.

Even this time they still didn't issue the full allowance due to the way it was mishandled imo. There is no need for the extra allowance they asked for... and sadly no evidence of being able to use it well.
