Once again I asked the question, did anyone know that 20000 ppl are currently using Telemedcare monitors.
And again I ask where is the revenue for this
acquisition of a 65% controlling interest in the TeleMedCare group of
companies. The multi-awarded TeleMedCare flagship vital signs e-health
remote monitoring units, that we will be demonstrating at our Meeting, are
acknowledged as the best in their class having full Australian, UK and EU
regulatory approvals and being video, voice and data Internet integrated. As
well as our installed units, current pilots include UK care facilities, Boots
pharmacies and a UK pilot for Prisons in process of being established. The
active sales pipeline for product sales, licensing and hosting exceeds $20
million and is expected to be supplemented through a number of global
partnerships. With over 20,000 people, largely in aged care facilities, currently
using the TeleMedCare units, it has been demonstrated that as well as
providing for a better level of care and peace of mind, their use has resulted in
around 70% less unnecessary hospitalisations and 50% less unnecessary
Practitioner consultations.
