MEDIC VISION PARTNERS WITH INDIA’S LARGEST AND MOST STRATEGIC PRIVATE HOSPITAL GROUP

The Board of Medic Vision Ltd (Medic Vision) is pleased to announce the signing of an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with Medvarsity Online Ltd (Medvarsity) India’s first Medical e learning venture. Medvarsity is an initiative by Apollo Hospitals Group, a leader in healthcare in Asia Pacific Region and one of the global leaders in providing e-learning solutions. Apollo is presently the largest integrated healthcare company in Asia with a total of 45 hospitals owned and managed by the group with an annual turnover of 7.4million.

Medic Vision and Medvarsity’s key objective in partnering is to provide medical and surgical skills training centres to an international standard across India. According to Mr Ross Horley, CEO Medic Vision, “the collaboration provides an opportunity for the company to deploy a turn key solution in the area of design and management of skills training centres in a new and highly populated market. This is a strategic move forward for the company, partnering with Apollo Hospital Group’s training arm, Medvarsity. The Apollo Hospital Group is the acknowledged leader of superior world-class healthcare in India and this relationship will provide the company with significant earnings potential and the deployment platform for the roll out of further managed and owned skills training facilities globally.

Dr Reddy, Director, Medvarsity commented that “the collaboration between both Medic Vision and Medvarsity will provide a synergy and meeting of technologies that will provide a world class training system for India’s healthcare market. It was an obvious move for our company to partner with Medic Vision who is a world leader in the area of medical and surgical skills training facilities and technology and has the broadest experience and expertise in this highly specialised area of healthcare.” Medvarsity specialises in delivering quality distance education to the healthcare providers using information technology enabled learning tools, aimed at improving standards of medical education and practice.

The next step of the process is to commence the planning of the first skills centres and develop the deployment plan.
