Is such a scenario dependent upon how they go about the TO I'm a little confused sometimes they need ?? >75% SH aggreement for a scheme of arrangement or othertimes it seems 51% via a prospectus and all goes to the victor but ?? compulsory in both cases once they reach 90% In any event it looks pretty likely that RIO has done more than deal itself into the game, Just gut tells me that the market is telling them it'll never be cheaper so why wait ?? unless they fear a competitor or hedgies forcing a higher bid (all the more reason to strike now while the hedgies are in the process of forced sales left right and centre)
Reads like the thoughts of any mug but the fact that EXT SP has remained larkely constant lately is a red flag as to something KAH is I dunno a "burning red flag" (just to stretch the metaphor)
