    I used to think that the buying in KAH was most likely for sinister reasons, ie that Stalker wants to control 25% of KAH to hold the merger to ransom.

    I thought it possible that it was RIO buying KAH but I thought they would only do that if they were forced to since there is clearly way more leverage with EXT.

    Curex resolved that for me (thankyou Curex) with "The Australian" article, it is clear that RIO has regulatory hoops to jump through if they want to buy more EXT and that no doubt takes time.

    Whilst they are waiting they buy what they can, which is KAH.

    This shows me two things:

    1) They will pay a lot more than current figures

    2) When the merger goes ahead it will no longer be an Australian company so RIO will only need to deal with its own British regulatory authorities.

    When they are allowed to buy it up they will and they will want it all.

    Fellow holders, be patient, it is not far away.
