I tend to find when this happens the price spikes then drops, i also noticed the shorting activity of late.

It appears there is a buyer wanting in or a current holder increasing their stake, shorts are a means of pegging the price.

However the selling of the last two days were autobot induced, but a lot of weak hands get flushed out in the process, which is the intention.

The broker doing this work has time of their hands, whereas us little guys stare and wonder as to what is going on.

If gold continues to fall, then AVO has a gap at $1.31 from 21st Nov 08 which may get filled.
