I don't think it's a huge surprise a little money's being taken off the table. Fund managers do have risk management divisions and even if it was 99% assumed a favourable outcome for Lynas that's still 1% risk. There'll be a boffin or algorithm somewhere programmed to sell down a bit, I reckon. And regardless, today's price action looks directly inverse to yesterday's in terms of the ASX and may have nothing to do with the result of the announcement.
