Unfounded optimism that anything major will be accomplished at the G20 regarding trade war. Simple fact is that China can't give the US what they require. Included are such things as doing away with gov't funding of the State Owned Enterprises--to do so would mean collapse of economy and serious social stability implications. Granting access to the Chinese economy equal to that granted to China in US--no way--it protects China's most prized industries! Or theft of intellectual property. LOL, are you kidding me. Theft of such is the cornerstone of much of China's progress and, for example, the PLA (the world's biggest private army--belongs to Chinese Communist Party--not the people) is as good as it can be made with stolen technology.
