"Demand for Lynas products - NdPr as well as Ce and La - remained strong and above current capacity to supply. In particular, demand from magnet makers in Japan for our NdPr continues to increase. Due to the success of our quality improvement program, we achieved record sales volumes of Ce and La to key customers outside China."
Lets put that into perspective. Lynas can not produce enough to keep up with demand yet sale prices for its products are still based on China REO prices which are basically based off small volume transactions in China.
So what gives? Understand Lynas has to remain competitive to gain market share but at what point in time does the company start to realise the true value of its product in sales?
