5 for 1???? Did you say this backwards accidently? If you did not just say it backwards the split would make it 0.40 to 0.60. Which would keep it on pink sheets in US. Make it ineligible for many funds to hold which means some funds which held it would have to sell.
Rember how the stock went up after 1 for 10 because it lifted many restrictions. 700M shares is way too many for a company this size. A 1 for 5 would put the price over $10 removing all restrictions My guess split adjusted SP would go up.
