Interesting article in the AFR today re Twiggy and price of iron ore which could be linked to what’s happening in rare earth prices.
With closure of illegal mines in China and a focus on higher grades, all supported by Xi, a similar situation is unfolding with rare earths.
Firstly, LYC has the one of the highest grade RE mines in the world. Secondly, with reference to recent investor presentation; LYC doesn’t price it’s product on spot, it’s done via structured agreements with key LT customers.
I know this information is well known by some, but seriously, we’re in the money. I’ll continue to load my truck.
