Consolidation does not change the fundamentals of the company , when inplimented it produces a false picture of past performance and in some way robs the long share holders . Fancy paper work does not replace good management or the difficulties of which the company has battled through in the past . All these factors help prospective share purchases make an educated decision before investing in the various sectors and company's ! I also don't agree shorting company's , which I believe should be illegal . If you don't approve of the management of a perspective company or the performance of that sector sell your share don't buy a short . It' opens up the possibilities of manipulation and corruption which hurts hard working directors and share holders !
