I like your analogy there with ' Snooker ' . I would only add that in snooker , it is not just about lining up your balls for a ' Run ' , but more a case of lining up the ' Highest ' valued balls to gain the most points ....and if you end up going on a ' High Valued ' run , then so be it you will win anyway.
So strategy in this game and getting ' Points ' on the board is a lot like snooker because you have to ' outplay ' your opponent , and there is a Myriad of opportunities to do so and win the game.
