Interesting AHR's site about 150K from SRL's processing plant.

    Metalloid mishaps

THERE'S many a slip 'twixt discovery and development, as Straits Resources (SRL) is finding out at its Hillgrove antimony (and gold by-product) mine in northern NSW. Processing has been suspended for up to six months for technical investigations. The plant has, for the initial 12 months, produced saleable antimony up to London Metal Exchange specifications but the quantities being turned out are way below plant design levels.

It is an especially hard blow as antimony prices have been picking up after a plunge at the start of the year, going from below $US4500 a tonne to around the $US6000 mark. Antimony is used as a flame retardant. Anchor Resources (AHR) had better news to report. The company is also operating in the New England region of NSW and just completed 10 holes at its Wild Cattle Creek antimony project. Four assays are still to come, but the ones in so far show drilling hit broad intersections of antimony-gold-tungsten. Managing director Trevor Woolfe said the results exceeded all his expectations.
