Im sure that the Wallis team are busy preparing final drill logs and reports and that the CTP team has been busy reviewing and analysing the results from this well.
We will all be privy to the results in a day or two.
As far as the hole being set to P&A this just indicates to me that the holes are being capped prior to moving the rig to the next drill site.
IMO this campaign was not about drilling production wells it was about defining and mapping the resource to determine extent of coals and the best areas to drill any future production wells. From the drill reports we all know that CTP have once again found extensive coal seams in the Purni in this well.....This is no duster in anyones books and would be a company maker if the permit was in QLD.
It was interesting to note from the final drilling update that at current TD this well has not reached the bottom of the Purni. I hope JH sheds possitive detail of the relevance of this fact in reporting the drill results.
