Would be a very strange ploy.....do due diligence for months.....by all accounts are pretty close to doing a deal.....then pull out completely to come back again later......certainly not the way Chinese usually approach M&A.....come to think of it not many I can think have done that where there has been so much publicity about interest.
They are looking at longer term value....not short term situation. Picking it up for $12.50-$13 will prove to be a very good deal down the track from them. I assume Nufarm Board will do it now given the share price would probably drop to low $8's.
