I thought the US was looking at powering all of their naval vessels with HALEU?
I wonder what fuel Australia is going to use in it subs?
HEU can be used for nuclear weapons, but it hasn't been used by the US for that purpose for a long time, they only use it for naval propulsion now, so maybe they can use more of it one day for downblending, but that itself would make it hard for the HALEU enrichers to come to grips with? competition before they even started!
