Weighted average price for the whole day was 22.4 cents so the buy at 22.5 on close wasnt really all that remarkable.

During the closing auction someone wanted to buy about 700k shares and put a bid in at 23 cents with (I assume) a view that there woud be enough sellers at 22.5 and 22 cents to have the final match price at 22.5 or 22.0.

A seller ended up manipulating the 22cent sell volume lower so as to end up with a final match price of 22.5. (naturally they wanted their final sale at 22.5 and not 22.0)

Nothing all that remarkable to me. This stuff goes on at frequently at closing auction. The good thing from a holder's perspective is that buyers came back later in the day so we didnt end up red on what one could haev reasonably expected to be a big greenie.
