There will always be people who want land if they get it at the right price, there has been a big pullback from the Chinese but there are a number of others with the money and need

Not to mention pure greed and that most people these days will kill their grandmother for a few bucks

I feel that there is much in that case that we don't know the details of because there were several clues of more depth to that conflict.
