I forgot to add that ENI have three jack-up rigs they can choose from and I think Ken said they're about to sign up for one. He believes the rig will be on site (105) in the middle of next year.
Another point Ken made regarding Exxon. He was VERY surprised that their drilling was based on existing data. They weren't going to wait for 3D seismic info although, I think he said they're about to do one now.
When the NEN team saw their own 3D results the excitement was palpable as it seems to replicate what they know about Exxons successful field.
And, Stlamc, to add to what others have said, ENI are sure as hell keen on these prospects. (that's as close to technical talk you'll get from this ex NZ rural peasant)
