I think you'll find that current POG action is simply down to co-ordinated central bank manipulation. They need to clear the decks before the next round of "liquidity" injections that have already been announced in EU (USA to follow soon I think too) As pointed out (before it actually happened) by Dan Norcinni, these manipulations have successfully painted a double top on the LT charts.
Because I have to keep to the subject, HUI down, top bollinger broken free and skidding along the trendline......I reckon some side-ways maybe down action in RED short-term. Keep an eye on the ASX200 as the broader market should also affect the price.
