no matter who or what is to blame there is something that sticks in my mind over and over..... the recent crash of 08-09 hit traders beyond what they could have imagined, every one called bottom after bottom only to see it fall of a cliff day after day... now considering the experience and mentality of traders after the crash they will be more then likely more emotional and more fearful then ever before, sell off's will be way way over sold....
When the XAO showed a near perfect double top recently I said to a few that it would be wise to get out and sit back till after june... In saying that I ended up selling a heap of my portfolio, then to only find myself buying up hard on stocks that I researched to believe that good things were coming real soon... now even if they announce in the blood bath you know traders will be happy to take there tiny profit, some will be happy just to get out at a minimal loss or even at cost... you cant help but wonder where will it bounce this time?....... 4500 for the XAO looks like support, however in saying that it means nothing if traders continue to freak out...
what needs to happen is strict rules again, no shorts at all!!!!!!!!!..... we need some one that has some simple common sense in leadership, not the clowns we have now...
I would say the emotions of traders will be at there peak, the bottle shop will make a killing out of investors ;)...
what ever the reasons for the falls and blood bath days know that it is out of your hands...
one of the things I hate the most is when this moment is over the idoits of the ASX will give speeding ticket after speeding ticket when recovery is attempted, its easy for a stock to fall 50%.. When a stock falls 50% it has to increase 100% just to get back to your entry, while this is happening on the back of no news the ASX will issue speeding ticket after speeding ticket asking for a PLEASE EXPLAIN... the answer should be simple "we took a hit on the SP, now the same traders want there stock back, get over yourselves!!!!"
best of luck to holders, I hope what ever decisions you make proves to be the right one...
