0132 GMT [Dow Jones] Rising spot uranium prices may have helped the market warm a little to Paladin (PDN.AU), but Citigroup remains firmly in the bear camp, keeping a sell recommendation and A$0.25 price target on the stock. The African-focused uranium miner has a US$300 million convertible bond due next November, which Citigroup reckons it'll struggle to meet, despite the company currently holding a cash balance of US$210 million. Taking into account working capital requirements, the broker believes Paladin will end up with a roughly US$200 million funding gap come November. Funding options could include a share issue, a further stake selldown in the Langer Heinrich mine, or extra project debt. ([email protected])
