It's an educated guess, but realistically, they have the data necessary to obtain a grant. it would be too easy.

They have shown, through ICS, that Cvac targets MUC-1 tumours.

They have shown, through Phase I and IIa clinical trials, that Cvac can achieve results in Ovarian Cancer

It was shown to be safe.

They will surely get a grant for phase I trial in another cancer. they are not looking to start up a Phase II/III trial. My only concern is, that while cash won't be put towards other cancers, is that other resources will be. I would like to see them achieve some significant milestones first before they expand. Perhaps they are "sure" about the Phase IIb results, or they are happy with can-004 recruitment. But until we know about it, it leaves a certain amount of uncertainty in shareholders minds.
