Well i could have got exactly the same amount of shares by not tying up, and risking a loss, on $27.5k of my cash. If they'd have told me that upfront I would have just applied for $2,500.
To be clear I didnt expect to get anywhere near $30k however I also didnt expect to receive the minimum.
