There is and never will be any doubt that the big end of town will want this as cheap as possible. That of course includes a deal between Rio and CNGPC or any other permutation. Will ASIC ever conduct a credible due diligence on the trading manipulation ? NO, absolutely guaranteed. So what are we left with ? a lower offer than true value (as Champ alluded to recently). That is business unfortnately. I have been in this since a dollarish and have accumulated the panic bottoms - Fukishama, the Ministers remarks, Europe etc (5.90+). What happens, happens but most long term holders are in good profit, personally it would be very nice to see this company go all the way without a takeover to recognise real value on the investment.
