Unusual trading patterns in LYC trading today:
1. Very low volume compared to LYC's usual. It's just after 12 noon now, and still only 1.9 million shares traded.
2. Very little shorting activity. Still some straight-out selling on the Course of Sales, but only the very occasional attempt at bot-driven shorting
3. Share price trading sideways in a 1-cent band most of the day so far - between 1.105 and 1.115
Impression is that everyone - including the big end of town - is just marking time while waiting for the TOL issuance.
Given that the market usually pro-acts before news is announced (not that inside info would be a factor, of course...!), then this could be just the calm before the storm.
If we see the share price suddenly start to go up on significant volume (important that - the volume needs to be there), then that could indicate the impending announcement of the TOL.
Just my thoughts...
