    Ohh I see what you mean, in the pre-open and pre-close the prices that go through are the averages, so people will put in orders well above (buying) or below (selling) to get in front of the que.

    For example the sell order at $1.00 will get filled first but at $1.13 as that is the average.

    Hope that makes sense...
