I'm not sure what it is about today's trading that has you confused. Yesterday the SP was jumping around on low volume, because there was very little available to buy in the trading range. As it was the SP dropped from 7.5 to 7.2 in the final 10 mins yesterday because of less than 4000 shares offered for sale at 7.2
Overall, the climb of the last few days has been on very small volumes, much smaller than the historical avg. However, the buyer/seller ratio has also improved.
