You'll probably find that the seller and buyer of the 3 mil are the one and same party. They may appear on the ASX sell and buy list as (example only) 10.5c and 11c, but in real life, the transaction will occur at 10.25c. Selling to himself and creating an illusion to the public of a price increase or decrease.

You and I can't access the mid point price orders, but the brokers can.

The curious thing is that I think there are two lots of BOTs trading. One ramping it down, that's all the Xtrades that are for example 10.25c after every 10.5c transactions (for example) and one ramping the SP up, the ones that are 10.7c after every 10.5 transactions (for example).
