Yep they must but if they don't and play up with the system who will hold them accountable - ASX or ASIC ? Dodgy directors has played up and sucked out blood of retail investors including hard earned mums and dads and never ASX or ASIC did anything. so for some holders/companies to play up with disclosure of holding isn't that big deal.
