@anatol, this is great advice.
If you are looking to make a quick buck then frustration will be your enemy. When I first started out I would buy a stock knowing news was due and then get frustrated and panic when people sold the news, i'd quickly be down on my investment and be tempted to sell at a loss. I learnt to hold my nerve and may end up holding a stock for weeks longer than i wanted to just to recoup my cash or make small gains.
If there are sp pullbacks now I revisit the fundamentals of the company and potential news flow and know that holding mid to long term is not a bad thing if the fundamentals are good, if you look to trade it then chances are you can be caught out by retraces and accumulation
