further to the earlier post, the ABC tonight referred to investment in U exploration /mine dev etc @ $24 billion over next 20 yrs and that the S.A. govt would be trying to fast track approx 100 U based applications in S.A.
I'd expect these issues to be covered in morning financial columns and probably electronic media.
Whether mining of Uranium is the only activity or it expands to include nuclear power stations is yet to be seen. Either way, regardless of who wins the federal election, the existing mine policy is history and mining is being planned since the weekends announcements like never before.
