My point in the previous post you are all so vehemently denying is about the link between Todds, and CUE and the influence the Todd consortium has over CUE.
Even Mr lord asserts this as a positive in his post # 5862963. Come on Mr Lord, you can't have it both ways.
To be very clear here, Richard Tweedie serves on both CUE and Todd boards. As pointed out by another poster there is nothing at all unusual about this in the business world, however, in the case of CUE, the other board Mr Tweedie serves on (Todd) happens to hold the controlling interest in CUE.
Mr Tweedie is the chairman of CUE. The very same Mr Tweedie is the Managing Director of Todd Energy. The very same Todd energy that hold the controlling interest in CUE.
As we all know (or should) company direction,reputation (good or bad)and business ethos is a direct function of its board, with the majority of steering coming from the chairman and MD.
The fact is Mr Tweedie was at the helm of Todd during the failed litigation case against Shell/OMV. Please note, until/if the appeal is successful the case failed with very substantial costs awarded to Shell/OMV.
CUE and Todd energy are inextricably linked.
