Sorry, I figure those comments re Togo & JDC were really off topic on the other thread about Nowa Ruda, so they are reproduced below.
Looks like the JDC Phosphate technology is coming together.....
The Togolese were supposed to be very impressed with this down steam solution.
MAK up 13% today.
Our Togo Phosphate Tender partner's (MAK) announcement today.
"Minemakers Limited (ASX/TSX:MAK) is pleased to advise that JDCPhosphate has reported that its IHP demonstration plant at Fort Meade, Florida has successfully commenced phosphate agglomerate feed to its kiln with the expectation of production commencement in the near term."
For those that don't know, JDC's IHP technology is an innovative method of producing high purity phosphoric acid.
From a BMB announcement;
"Minemakers has a minority position in a US company, JDC Phosphate Inc, which is developing a new cost-effective and environmentally-friendly technology for the production of super phosphoric acid (“SPA”) that could ultimately prove very valuable for the Togo Project. Under the terms of the MOU Balamara would consider this solution for production of SPA in Togo if awarded the tender."

IHP TECHNOLOGY
The Improved Hard Process uses phosphate bearing material, petroleum coke, silica and other proprietary compounds as its raw materials. These materials are dried and ground to specification, and formed into feed agglomerates using equipment that is common in the mining and minerals processing industry (drying equipment, ball mill grinding equipment, balling drums).
Dry feed agglomerates are fed to a rotary kiln where they are heated to a reaction temperature of more than 1000 degrees Centigrade. Once the reaction temperature is reached, a reduction reaction occurs that liberated phosphorus gas. Phosphorus auto-ignites in the presence of air contained in the freeboard of the kiln, with the product of this combustion being a phosphorus rich gas stream in a form that can be converted into high purity phosphoric acid in the hydrator. The hydrator technology was perfected by the Tennessee Valley Authority and is a reliable method to recover phosphorus at high yield. 68%-70% P2O5 phosphoric acid is one of the products made using the Improved Hard Process.
The feed agglomerates, devoid of phosphorus after the reaction in the kiln, are cooled and stored before sale as an aggregate for construction applications.
