jhc, how many plant start-ups have you done?

I agree, the Lynas team will be checking and rechecking everything they can with the "luxury" of the spare time they have, but there are some things that are untestable on a dry run, and some things that the best checklists miss. It is a sophisticated plant, more advanced than any other, and as such there will be new design concepts and equipment. There will be problems! Usually it doesn't matter, a seal fails and there is a solvent leak, a few swear words, a brief shutdown and fend off a couple of locals who got a whiff and you're right. But not with this one.
