It's all politics, which is a synonym for B D/S.
Malaysia has a political problem and the extent to which that is being created by outside influences (China) is anyone's guess.
Bottom line is if the LAMP is shelved or LYNAS goes broke because of legal fees and delays Malaysia will also become a synonym for BS.
My bet is the government will resolve the problem by means of referring it to a commitee to diffuse argument (which is what's happening today) and the problem will be resolved by the time the plant is ready to roll....a lot of noise and lawyers, as always getting their cut.
What must be done will be done... they are not going to have to put up with a multi-million dollar monument to inept decision making.
