Year after year Myer's growth strategy has been a total failure but Myer was able to throw a bone to the shareholders with a high dividend to keep everyone happy , no reason to question strategic growth plans just keep paying a good dividend . I remember Telstra had the same issue , high dividend at 8% and low share price. WHy? becuase telstra growth was stagnate and they didn't see Telstra having any growth plans in the future.
Management should of been sacked years ago.
