We will benefit waaay Way more than just having a supplement instead of environmentally detrimental or inappropriate use of antibiotics , for gut health administration to some of the 1 billion piglets born annually.
Goodness knows how many chickens , in the world , as well , but a lot more no doubt though pig production is globally huge and significant.
These animals are for food .. and have been the major source of inappropriate broad antibiotic exposure , and rise of antibiotic resistance— critical now , & threatening our last line of defence antibiotics that we have available to fight highly virulent infections . To save people’s lives .
Tracey M over at that company - has also spent over 30 years researching towards this .

Just important to know -with the other company - Human applications , were Always the goal there . But just was too difficult back at the start of the 1990s. Way to hard - to succeed from that angle first .
And there was a crying need for alternatives in meat production , intensively farmed animals first . With clear vision that safety not truly be in doubt, but if efficacy proven eg, in pigs , so similar to gut health of people - then this could be the best path to proving , and commercialising the unique source of bromelain , very cheaply , effective to generate a treatment modale, to clear benefits for pig producers who needed alternatives , and for human consumption.
They’re not that unrelated .
Gut health - is primary- also to maintenance of good health and even for prevention of cancer in the first instance . Really . If gut health compromised - inflammation effects - cumulative over time , ‘leak’ bacteria , and other more toxic elements into our bodies . Not to mention - malabsorption, pressure onto the bile system , hyperacidity .. etc .. all of which - can contribute to the development of gut & breast cancers .
I think Leslie could well be very excited by her cohorts research and development efforts here in Oz . The R & D assistance is good here , through the Aust government, and the asx an excellent incubator for these companies.

Even the mosquito is about the most dangerous animal on this planet to us , as well as other animals & where unclean water is a reservoir . Food for other developing micro- life, provided from the developing mosquito larvae also .
Mosquito borne illnesses , huge morbidity , also from other vectors & simple preventable or treatable infections , diseases - kills so many millions .
Especially still babies , children under 5 years of age .
Kidney disease , diabetes etc . Huge level of chronic illnesses that compromise the immune system .
All links - with cancer development - primary association - with a compromised immune system .
(hence the good with modulators to boost our own cellular response , as as the big goal to develop magic bullet specific vaccines to inject to directly target and assist persons body to fight and eliminate specific cancers itself )
Overall - heart disease - also linked to disease , generally , and poor health - immune compromised conditions and Co- morbidities - all are relevant. There is no such thing as a ‘safe ‘ medicine , generally . All lead to vulnerability , as does simple aging of the body - to cancers.
I think with both of these companies- if required - we would all be so glad to be able to be given these treatments , complimentary to our own defences, to assist our bodies to Best Health. Or Cure !
