I upgraded to MS XP Pro and bought an upgrade to Office XP Pro only because it was on special.
Office XP Pro is the same as '97 other than new pretty interface and a few extra bells and whistles that I don't use.
Suggest you play with the XL spreadsheet BSOPM until you get your head around the numbers ... you can use GoalSeek within XL to solve for I/Volatility.
Andrew's BSOPM uses the VBA macro and whilst differs slightly from my approach, works fine and is recommended.
