He is sole director but relevant interest is indirect. It was an Appendix 3y so he is required to list all direct/indirect interests. Just googling now I can also see his interest in Kitara also listed as s608(3)(b) whereby his interest would be:

A body corporate, or managed investment scheme, that the person controls (s608(3)(b)).

That doesn't mean that he would necessarily own even 50% of shares in the entity. You can look at page 14 onwards http://download.asic.gov.au/media/1236706/rg5-published-20-december-2013.pdf

However having said all that though in his recent initial substantial holder notice in DRG it stated that:

Tolga Kumova is the sole director and sole shareholder of Kitara Investments Pty Ltd

So go figure? I'd rather see him lodge an Appendix 3x but that may be asking too much.
