I have lived in Tom Price for over 6 months and previous to that was in Kununurra,I obviously work in the mining industry.
Just to let you know that there are quite alot of different styles of accomadation,myself and my family live in a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom brick home with a 10mt long inground swimming pool.
You see life is not as bad as you make out.fair comment that alot of accomadation is a bit dodgy up here,but alot of these homes were built with the expectation of a 20 -30 year mine life,right know Mt Tom Price is on 42yrs!!! With resources availble for another 30 yrs at least.We are in the process of constructing a 30km conveyor.

I realise that I am getting away from FDL here but,do you realise that if BHP offer us much more than its current offer of 3.4 shares for every one of ours, with the exception of cash that is that Rio will end up owning BHP.
